Mesian

Before the creation of Esha, during Olûn, Mesian attempted to divorce herself from the cruel and destructive rivalries of her siblings.   In the Feuding era, Mesian became the unsuspecting plaything of Aebaster’s desires.   When it became known that her spawn were accursed beats of fur and fangs, Mesian was presented with a choice. She could destroy or abandon the Elivas, and there was ample reason to despise their unkempt and utterly barbaric nature. Conversely, she could spare them. Against the predictions of the other Eshan, Mesian chose to oversee and embrace the bestial Elivas.   Despite cruel betrayals and constant hardships, Mesian rose to the duties compelled upon the Alor’eshan through their dominion over Qadal. Foremost, there was the maintainance of the unspoken oceanic border between the two worlds which, unless convinced otherwise, was crossed by encroaching Ebal’eshan. The Threshold War, for example, waged in ancient Nevan, was initiated by Mesian to oust a growing coven of Ebal’eshan gathering under the protection of the Qazunari. No matter the effort, however, the other Alor’eshan were more concerned about competing with one another than cooperating to ensure the stability of their world.   Come the Wandering era, the neutral demeanor which characterized and benefited Mesian was no longer viable.
