Nezhar

Ferocious Nezhar originally came from Nemrohed, dwelling there as a native Karthuulite. It was his ambition which drove him away from that homeland toward strange realms, and then into the eyes of Typhon himself.   Among all his companions, Typhon trusted Nezhar most. He informed Nezhar about his scheme to betray and slaughter the other devotees of Ácolitus to absorb their power in rebellion as a matter of faith. As was hoped, Nezhar agreed with the premise of the plot, but offered his service to his master in whatever manner might be fitting. A broad grin grew upon Typhon’s weathered face. The two of them descended upon Admaris, Sinestra, Dion, Ectival, and Sinestra to massacre them all without a moment for defense. As their power was taken for malign purposes, a significant measure was granted to Nezhar, who was corrupted by that energy which pricked at the borders of his mortality.   Nezhar was trapped within Worthend by the slain Konin of the Vestidians, who called forth the powers of the Naarstor to imprison the beast. He remained there, empowering the corruption and ruination which blighted the land. This included the Zjol’kel which housed the fragmented essence of Naiara, who Typhon managed to secure in some hideously incomplete measure.   Years later, warriors dispatched from Morren arrived with Haradus of Everos to destroy Nezhar forever.
