When Typhon was defeated by Corgastorian warriors in 1385, his Eshanic essence was torn asunder. However, the other Eshan feared the boons of power which Corgastor would possess should he absorb Typhon’s full energy. Ácolitus intervened and secured the fragment of Enkiran Siryetan himself, placing it upon Kovûl as a means of eternal punishment to his rebellious agent. Corgastor imbued the remaining fragments, being those of Typhon’s former companions, within the physical remains of his armor. These were then cast back into Othos to languish as hidden and forgotten relics of that hideous war. Yet, nothing is ever so simple in Qadal. As with the Eshan themselves wrought from the Eshor, pure Eshanic energy attracts and receives further Eshanic energy. Over the centuries, these spirits returned to a form of semi-sentient life. Their memories and personalities were intact.
