The First Judge

In a Qadayen sense, the concept of 'Judges of Ácolitus' was long unknown. The manifestations of the creator were in the form of discussions or exchanges of power between select individuals and himself. No temporal realm existed, as Qadal was the domain of the Alor'eshan and such interloping was an affront.   After the death of Atûn, however, the dynamic changed. Ácolitus turned toward Qadal and neglected Voryndal which for so long was his playscape. In this chaos which reigned, Ácolitus sowed his whims among the mortals of that land. Cults of his devotion flourished and came to challenge the faiths of the Alor'eshan themselves, who were filled with rage from this manipulation. Small kingdoms arose, and they required some manner of oversight from eyes other than the creator. A cohort of judges were organized from the mortals of Qadal and granted power by Ácolitus to reach their end.
