Amber Bay

During the hours of sunrise the low rays of the sun cast upon the waters of this large bay cause the ocean to turn a golden hue, hence the name bestowed by early Imperial explorers of the region.   Amber Bay is surrounded on almost all sides by the tall coastal cliffs of the Amber Coast region of the Empire. The waters of the bay are relatively calm, protected as it is from the currents and winds of the open ocean.   The largest settlement on the bay by far is the town of Ambercove, where Archduke Beringer Redaxe rules the region on behalf of the Emperor.
