Darcie Melwedd

Darcie Melwedd is a seamstress in the small farming community of Penzaro, and mother to one Rhodry Melwedd.
Darcie is a pleasant woman of middle years who has not lead an easy life. Her husband, Garick Melwedd, died a painful death at the hands of a plague that swept through the community several years ago. The plague killed most of the inhabitants of Penzaro, and the community has never fully recovered.
Darcie refused to remarry after her husband's death, but did builkd a relationship of sorts with Bill Tanner, a sour and occasionally violent farmer. Tanner never did appreciate Darcie's son, Rhodry, and was one of the reasons the boy eventually left the familial home.
Her home contains a small shrine to Atroa, to whom Darcie devoutly prays each evening.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Despite her advancing years and a hard life Darcie is a beautiful and kindly woman, who cares for her community. She has long white hair and deep brown eyes.

Notable Achievements

Darcie has lead a relatively sheltered life, and has rarely travelled outside the small village in which she was born and raised. She once spent a few days in Keymouth, but did not care for the hustle, bustle and cramped conditions of city life.
