High Chancellor

Magliore Breaux is High Chancellor of Keymouth University, the centre of higher learning within the Cerulean Empire. As well as running the faculties, Magliore is tasked with protecting Keymouth from threats greater than the City Guard and City Watch could handle.
She has been High Chancellor for the last eight years. Despite having to deal with a shrinking civic budget and a few faculty scandals, Magliore is highly respected and deemed one of the premier minds of the civilised world.
The High Chancellor resides in Ravenwood Tower, a foreboding edifice made of black stone that looms over the University campus. It is said that there are no doors into the tower, and that only the Chancellor and her acolytes are able to pass within.
Notable members of the faculty include Master Rollon Kepplor, a mage who specialises in the study of both natural and magical monsters, and Mistress Darla Belet, the chief secretary and head of faculty.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Magliore is a tall, dark-skinned woman of natural beauty, with shoulder length black hair and wise eyes of a deep brown.
She is always extremely well presented and wears simple, though expensive black leathers beneath a bronze doublet. She always carries a long black staff of ebony that is several feet taller than the High Chancellor herself.
Many students consider her serious and grave, but in private she is quiet, intelligent and easily amused.

Notable Achievements

As if becomming High Chancellor of Keymouth University at such a young age was not an incredible achievement, Magliore has been responsible for overseeing the creation of many magical items at the university, as well as helping to map the various constellations of the night sky.
