Martha Barron

Martha Barron is an old lady who lives in the small farming community of Penzaro. She is the mother of Commander Atticus Barron.
Martha was once a noble and socialite of the very highest ranks of Imperial society in Keymouth. Thanks to a scandal involving a married, high-ranking member of the Imperial court, she was relocated to the small farming village in which she now resides.
The scandal resulted in the birth of her son Atticus Barron, who was sent back to the capital to live with his aunt, Helena Oberhelm. The name of the father has never been revealed.
Despite her exile Martha has lead a peaceful life. Her living expenses are paid for by her sister, Helena Oberhelm, who also covers the cost of Martha's live-in carer.
Now of an advanced age, Martha suffers from several physical disabilities as well as mild dementia.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Martha is short and thin, with a bent back. She spends most of her time seated as it hurts her to move very far. Despite her age, her hair is still dark and her brown eyes glint with a mischievous sparkle.
She lives in a dreamy state of being, her dementia often sending her back to the days of her youth attending balls and pageants with the Imperial nobility.

Notable Achievements

Once belle the Imperial society, Martha has lead a quiet and uneventful life since coming to Penzaro.
