Appearing as a dark-skinned humanoid in a red robe, their face shrouded in shadow with glowing yellow eyes, surrounded by ribbons of paper which swirl about them, Yher is a deity of prophecy, knowledge, and writing. For centuries, they have remained in their temple in the now-ruined city of Yherong, dispensing prophesies to those who come to them. Anyone, regardless of past, station, or morality, can receive a prophesy regarding any question they wish to ask, after which they must wait ten years to receive another. The mysterious deity occasionally creates prophesies unprompted, often regarding upcoming events that will have a huge impact on the world.

Tenets of Faith

Yher encourages their followers to seek knowledge and understanding of all things. Nearly all of their followers are scholars. Others worship them because of their apparent insight into the future, whether they be tyrants seeking to protect their position or humanitarians trying to better the world. Yher makes no distinction about who they give their prophesies to.

Beyond simple understanding of the world and its future, little is known about Yher's designs. Most scholars assume they have none.
