Dragon's Bane

Dragon’s Bane is a flower that grows on high mountain tops. They are flowers, which pedals balls up like a rose, each being a different color. These pretty flowers are rare but have many uses as they can separate the physical from the metaphysical.

Dragon’s Bane Oil

When grounded, Dragon’s Bane flowers produce a thin, translucent oil that can be used to make sword oils and potions. They may even conduct rituals that reverse magic or break bonds. The flower got its name from the oil's use in dragon slaying sword oils and the creation of Excalibur. The oil contributes to an enchantment designed around it that allows the weapon to convert dragon scales back to their base materials, destroying a dragon's vessel regardless of how tough its scales are.
