I'm no goddess of fate, but I did learn how to listen to it. Fate has it's own narrative in mind and it's end just so happens to be the one I want to achieve. You see you can’t kill me and the only way to stop me is to stop fate, the only way to stop fate is to end it and that's exactly what I want.A reincarnated monster with a wish to free her kin had created the identity of Lady Fate to get its way. While under the guise of a merciful and fair goddess, she pushed plans to kill the gods and destroy nations. Thankfully there were people with the will to stop her.-Lady Fate

Lady Fate, created to have an extreme perception, has seen a glimpse of the Book of the Barren without opening it, gaining the power to look into the future. She centered her identity around this power, claiming to be the goddess of fate.
Artifacts
The Book of the Barren mysteriously appeared at the feet of Lady Fate when she killed her siblings. It contains the alternate futures of the Barren and the paths required to take them, making it a powerful tool and a dangerous one in the wrong hands.

On the anniversary of the day, the false deity of Fate was defeated and the pantheon of the Barren was restored, her death is celebrated with horse riding, prayers, games, and theatrics.Divine Goals & Aspirations
Fate looks to push the Book of the Barren's narrative to its end when the monsters trapped within the Barren are freed, using her future sight to push the right dominos while keeping her identity safe.

Personal history
Lady Fate was once one of the monstrous entities that ruled the universe before it was the Barren until she was killed and recreated into a guardian meant to protect the cage all the other monsters were placed in. Unlike the other guardians who were made along with her, Lady Fate remembered her past and vowed to free them, requiring the power of the other three guardians to do so. She killed two and incapacitated one, the Hunter, who was too powerful for her to defeat. With only two out of the three powers required, she was stuck and in need of a plan to take the Hunter's power. This is what led to the creation of the Lady Fate identity and is what led to the events of Campaign 1: Fate's Warriors.
