Sea's Appeal
Worshippers of Shae, Sea's Appeal acts to have the coast thank Shae for her act of rescuing them from the Kraken's second attack and sacrificing herself in the process.
Blessing of Shae
Sea's Appeal receives and can pass on the Blessing of Shae, their interpretation of which takes the form of increased defense while underwater. Lower-ranked members can give her blessing to vessels they however only leave a metaphysical mark of Shae so that it may be identified as a vessel under Shae.Tenets of Sea's Appeal
When leaving the basic worship of Shae and entering the group as a ranked member, the newly joined must submerge themselves in the ocean and make an oath to love and honor their goddess's domain. Once this initiation ritual is completed, a member of Sea's Appeal can no longer enter the ocean until death. If one does, they may not leave the water as they believe it would be disrespectful towards the domain and their goddess.Symbols of Worship
Gemed items that have been submerged in water for more than three nights can be used to channel a Sea's Appeal member's handed-down divine power. They may use these items and powers to bless salt water, which purifies it for drinking and allows it to be used in other rituals. Higher-ranking members or especially blessed members can even have the ability to control water. The Arch Priest and Priestess have the ability to summon large tidal waves or animate water into elementals.Selflessness should be rewarded with kindness
