Veil Tearing

Veil Tearing is the process of displacing sections of Veiling and moving it, creating an absence of the spirit world in the area from which it was removed (called a Veil Tear).

Creating Tears / Origin and Usage

A ritual is required to tear, the details of which are a secret kept by the Reapers. The technique was created during times of cataclysm or war when death rates were high. Reapers can only harvest souls one at a time, but tearing allows them to displace the torn veil straight into an afterlife with all the unharvested souls within it. This process was first done during the Urman Expansion Wars which created the kingdom.

The Seventh Kingdom

The Seventh Kingdom (also known as the 7th ring/layer of hell) is primarily made up of torn veils from battlefields stitched together, including battles from the Urman Expansion Wars, Vuruesian Crusades, and War of Eethill.
