Zuchue & Thernet; Rain Twins

Gods of the Tempest Zuchue & Thernet, the Rain Twins

When the gods died, no one knew until several temples began to lose their divine powers. The only exception is a worshiper of the Rain Twins who received one final message from them. That a man named Scias had murdered the pantheon, but not to fear as they would return when twins are born under a storm that circles the islands just off the Requian Coast. When that day eventually came two boys were born with a crack of thunder, the light of electricity flooding the room.

Zuchue

Born a few moments before his brother, Zuchue (zoo-choo) is the eldest brother with a slim build and overall moderately muscular build. He has long hair which could pass his chin if it wasn't put up in a bun. He hates putting on armor and tends to wear more revealing clothing no matter where he goes. Zuchue believes himself to be the face and personality of the pair, being able to smoothly get out of situations with slick words and bribes. Strength wise most underestimate him, but he's a great athlete and enjoys long sprints on the beach. His weapon is called "The Bolt" which he carries in an enchanted quiver that retrieves the weapon if it's not in his possession for longer than ten seconds. The Bolt is a brass javelin that carries electricity and sends it into its target and whatever metal is close to it. When held in a throwing position, the javelin itself becomes a lightning bolt which when thrown acts as if it was a natural lightning strike.

Thernet

The younger brother Thernet is always confused to be the older of the two, and who can blame them, he's taller, much more muscular, and the beard and bald head don't help his youthfulness. A man of few words, Thernet is actually incredibly intelligent but has difficulty sharing his ideas, letting his older brother take the spotlight. Some believe Zuchue's charisma only works because of the intimidating figure behind him, which for the most part is true as many fear Thernet's strength and his gauntlets even more. Unlike Zuchue's javelin, Thernet doesn't have a name for his gauntlets; gauntlets that let him summon thunderous waves of sound, so concentrated it could slice through rock. Though Thernet could easily defeat his enemies with his gauntlets, he chooses to be brutal, preferring to clap his hands when his target is between them, causing the sound and the force that comes with it to liquefy their organs.

Symbol

The symbol of the Twins together is a gauntlet holding up a lightning bolt (the gauntlet being Thernet, the lightning being Zuchue). If for whatever reason one of the Twins were to die or disappear, the symbol changes accordingly. If Zuchue is the remaining twin, the symbol becomes a Javelin with two lightning bolts wrapping around it. If Thernet is the remaining twin, it's two gauntlets holding a rain cloud. Worshipers will also use the individual symbols if they worship one twin, but not the other.

Worshipers

Worshipers who pray to both the twins are generally goodly aligned, wanting to keep storms tame and keep their lands safe and well-watered.
