The Nest
Background:
The Nest was first founded as a meeting place for contracts and assigning who will do them for the Syndicate. As time went on and the meetings became longer and more frequent, members started bringing food and drinks in from the outside to pass the time while others were briefed. Over time, the Nest naturally became a tavern for the criminal underworld with food, drink, and even music with the contracts now being assigned by free will unless the Butcher specifically requests you.
Description:
The Nest is found deeper within the Twilight district and at the base of a large rocky cliff covered in vines and glowing fungi. The building is made of a dark mossy wood with stone trim holding up a slanted blue roof covered in moss. The inside has multiple tables filled with food and drink along with various undesirables discussing their latest haul. At the back end, there is bar fitted with grills and barrels of various brews manned by two of the faceless underlings.
At each side of the bar sits two similar statues of a winged devil with 10 arms each holding scrolls of parchment. These scrolls are contracts waiting to be taken and have tags hanging from them with a brief description and price of completion.
