Broken Isles

The Broken Isles is a group of several small islands located in the middle of the Great Sea, off the western coast of Azeroth. These islands have been the site of many ancient battles and are steeped in history and myth.   The most prominent island in the Broken Isles is known as the Broken Shore. It is the site of the Tomb of Sargeras, which was once a temple of Elune. However, after the Burning Legion invaded, the temple was destroyed and corrupted by fel energy. The Legion continues to use the Broken Shore as a base of operations in Azeroth, making it a dangerous place for adventurers to venture.   Other notable islands in the Broken Isles include Azsuna, Highmountain, Stormheim, and Suramar. Each of these islands has its own unique history and culture, as well as a variety of dangerous creatures and powerful factions vying for control.   Azsuna, for example, was once a thriving night elf civilization, but is now home to a number of different races and factions, including the ancient Nightborne, demons, and the powerful Blue Dragonflight.   Highmountain is a mountainous region that is home to the Highmountain Tauren, a tribe of tauren who have adapted to life in the harsh, rocky environment. The region is also home to the Halls of Valor, a great hall where the spirits of the greatest vrykul warriors are said to reside.   Stormheim is a dark, foreboding island that is home to the Vrykul, a powerful race of giants who have a long and bloody history with the other races of Azeroth. The island is also home to the Halls of Valor, which are said to be a gateway to the afterlife.   Finally, Suramar is a lush, magical city that was once home to the Nightborne, a powerful race of elves who have been cut off from the rest of Azeroth for centuries. The city is now occupied by the Burning Legion, and players must infiltrate its walls and aid the Nightborne in reclaiming their home.
