History

The Red Sons pirates are a notorious crew known for their clever tactics and their preference for quick and easy jobs. Their leader, Eddard Scrimshaw, is a charismatic figure who commands respect from his crew. While the crew is based out of Freehold in Tiragarde Sound, they have been known to travel throughout Kul Tiras and beyond.
One of their primary sources of income is transporting gold and other valuable cargo between the Investors Bank and various criminal organizations in Boralus. However, they are not above taking on other jobs, such as smuggling illegal goods or raiding unsuspecting merchant ships.
Despite their reputation as opportunistic thieves, the Red Sons have a strict code of conduct and are not known for being unnecessarily violent. They are not interested in drawing unnecessary attention to themselves and prefer to operate discreetly, using their wit and cunning to stay one step ahead of their enemies.
It is unclear whether there is any relation between Eddard Scrimshaw and the Scrimshaws of Boralus, but their similar names have led to speculation among some in the criminal underworld.
