Thousand Needles
Thousand Needles is a zone located in the southern part of Kalimdor in the world of Azeroth. It is an arid desert area with deep canyons, towering rock formations, and numerous windmills. The zone was once inhabited by tauren and centaur tribes, but after the events of the Cataclysm, it was flooded by the tidal waves caused by Deathwing's emergence and transformed into a vast saltwater lake.
The zone is now divided into two regions: Shimmering Flats and Sunken Dig Site. The Shimmering Flats is a vast salt flat area that is home to various races of goblins, including the goblin racetrack called the Mirage Raceway. The Sunken Dig Site is an underwater excavation site where players can find various treasures and rare items.
Thousand Needles is also home to various factions such as the Grimtotem tribe, pirates of the Blue Divers, and the Steamwheedle Cartel, who are all vying for control of the area's resources. The zone is a popular location for players to quest, explore, and level up, with many challenging enemies and hidden treasures to discover.
