The devastating Second Convergence  obliterated the protective wards on the Planar gates , unleashing torrents of elemental power and allowing hordes of demons to flood into the material plane. These dual threats pushed humanity to the brink of annihilation. Witnessing this dire situation, celestial armies descended into the material realm, engaging in a protracted conflict against the demonic invaders. For four centuries, the war raged on, with neither side gaining a decisive advantage.

Betrayal of the Devils

Amidst the chaos, an unexpected turn occurred when a faction of demons known as Devils betrayed their kin, siding with the celestial forces. This betrayal proved pivotal, shifting the balance of power in favor of the celestials.

Ultimately, after centuries of relentless warfare, the Sheen managed to sever the outer gates, effectively isolating the demons and themselves from the material plane.
