Cause

The devastation wrought by the Second Convergence  shattered the wards guarding the Planar gates , unleashing a horde of Demons  upon the material plane. Witnessing the carnage wrought upon mortals, The Sheen  marshaled their armies and descended from the celestial realms to defend the mortal races.

Devil's Betrayal

After four centuries of unrelenting warfare, a faction of demons defected from their kin, aligning themselves with the forces of light. This renegade group marked the genesis of the first Devils , forever altering the dynamic of the conflict.

Severing of the Gates
