Humans

Rarity: Common

Humans are widespread across nearly all of Haven, inhabiting even the most inhospitable areas of the realm. They are fierce and disagreeable and they strive towards their goals with reckless abandon. Their cultures, mannerisms and talents can vary wildly, making humans famous for their diversity. Humans are also well known for being both generalists and specialists.

Humans are decently fast, tough and intelligent.
They are versatile and adaptable.

Gallicans

Stemming from Gallica, these people are
Gallicans are pale-skinned and usually have brown hair.

Culturally gallicans value order. They live in spread-out farming communities or large cities. Either way they highly value the order the feudal Gallican system brings, as the trained knights and soldiers defend the civilians from dangerous monsters inhabiting the forests and fields.
Many Gallicans learn horseriding as a skill, even if they never own a horse themselves.

Northeners

The people of Pucraele, also known as 'northeners' are a tough and hardy bunch.
They are used to harsh times of scarce food, where family bonds are most important to stay alive.
There isn't many of them but they are tall and strong. They are very pale-skinned and are often blonde or red-haired.
They often braid their hair, a practise they learned from the Dvuergr city of Bergheim in the pucraelan mountains.

Culturally northeners value independence, to not be a burden on your community, which is usually your family. Anyone outside the community is to be met with suspicion. Strength and reliability is important, as is trust. Keep your word and be there when you're needed, be it for a hunt or to defeat an enemy raid.

Ravilians

Stemming from the Ravil Empire are dutiful and cunning.
Ravilians are shorter than average and are very tanned.

Culturally ravilians value the old ways. They ideallize the wonders of ravil and the ruins of humanity from before they came to Haven, and see themselves as inheritors of that legacy.
They also stem from a mageocratic society and thus have great respect for sorcerers but little respect for most clerics.
Ravilians are famous for their cuisine.

Scyjians

The people of the distant Scyjian Empire are exotic and insular.
Scyjians are tanned with almond-shaped eyes.

Culturally Scyjians see themselves as seperate from the rest of Haven, and scyjia as the greatest place in the world. Scyjians have developed their own traditions over thousands of years of isolation, such as the famous blood mages or the worship of the winged serpent.

Appearance

Humans can vary wildly in appearance. they are humanoid, usually somwhere from 5 to 6 feet tall, and weigh anywhere from 90 to 250 pounds. Their skin color can be anywhere from pale to dark brown, their hair color can be black, brown, red or even blonde. their eyes are usually blue, brown, grey, green or hazel.

Humans usually live to around 80 years.
