The First Invasion under Jagord the undying

In this year Jagord the undying, champion of the Jotnar and last of the royal line of his kind took a loyal force of his followers and attempted to conquer an area of northern Pucraele.

The local forces were utterly unable to stop them, their trained armies that had fought giants before were broken and scattered before the might of these champions.

However the patriarch of the clan inhabiting those lands called upon some favors he was owed and a powerful fire mage by the name of "The Salamander" was sent to assist. When the undying attempted to build settlements and to harvest food or hunt, the salamander would intercede, for while he could not beat the undying he could burn wherever he was not.

Thus Jagord was eventually forced to retreat and the conflict ended.
