Jagord the undying
Jagord the undying is the last descendant of the Jotnar imperial bloodline and has it made his personal goal to conquer Haven and eradicate all Humans that inhabit it.
He dwells in the far north of Haven in a stalemate with the northeners there.
Jagord was born long after the War of Tyrants, when humanity had already forced the giants from the verdant plains of Ravil and Gallica and into the barren lands of Pucraele.
Jagords youth was dominayed by raiding the outskirts of minor villages and forts.
It is here that Jagord learned the art of war and to despise humans. It was several decades later when jagord reched adulthood that he and what meager remains of their civilization were forced out of pucraele and into the frozen north. Jagord blamed this equally on the failing leadership of his clan and on the humans that forced them out. Furious, he usurped the leadership of their caravan and declared himself emperor of Jotnar-kind.
His attempts to gain off-world support from other Jotnar territories were met only with empty promises and fake smiles. None were truly interested in spending their meagre resources on reclaiming the Jotnar homeworld.
Since coming to rule Jagord has gone through many trials and tribulations to become a champion of Thrym and Surtr and has trained and made pacts with powers in the spirit world to become a signifficant magical and martial threat.
Most importantly however, Jagord obtained a copy of the Liber Mortis and managed to become immortal, earning him the nickname of 'the undying'.
With all the time in the world now that he stopped aging Jagord also built up his kind's number and raided the southern territories for their food-stocks, gathering his strength.
To that end Jagord has been spending a lot of time trying to change his people's way of thinking away fom decadent arrogance towards one that would hopefully keep them alive. He has been reorganizing his forces and training them, to launch a large scale invasion of northern pucraele and give his people a foothold to build up from.
Additionally he has been researching more about his people's ancient history, before their empire fell apart. He has been scouring many ancient ruins for tools and weapons to use, and it shall be seen just how large an arsenal he has collected when the time comes for him to use it.
Recently Jagord and a group of his loyal supporters attempted to conquer part of northern Pucraele, and though Jagord won every engagement he participated in, any attempts to form a settlement were devastated by an enemy fire mage. Jagord could rampage and destroy all he wanted but he needed capable forces to hold the territory. Jagord was forced to retreat, humiliayed and furious.
