Shrine of Saint Kaourintin

Built on the site of the hermitage of Kernev's patron saint, the Shrine serves as a focal point of prayer and worship for the people of Vandel.
The settlement does not have a church of its own (therefore a "hamlet") however the site is tended carefully by three "brides" of the Christian god who reside behind the stout walls (and well barred doors) of the adjacent nunnery.
Led by Sister Garaele, these women are nominally under the jurisdiction of the Bishop of Landévennec Abbey. Their house also serves as a hospice where the sick and dying can seek tender care.
