The Burning Inn
The street outside is covered in fallen leaves and mud despite the cobles underneath. The inn is a timber and brick building forming somewhat of a misshapen u-shaped building with a tanned wooden roof. The front of the building is flanked by two huge oak trees.
Inside, the largest part of the 'u' is the tavern area. It is split roughly in three with gaming tables in one third, tables for food into the second third and the bar in the last third. It is furnished with simple and sturdy-looking furniture. A number of hunting trophies line the walls. A number of small braziers dot the gaming and dining areas, contributing to the excellent lighting. The entirety of the floor and walls is stone. This includes the staircase leading to the top floor and the bedrooms upstairs.
Purpose / Function
The building was originally a large warehouse but it was bought off by the Ghost Sword clan and transformed about 50 years ago.
Sensory & Appearance
The Inn is well lighted and the place feels hot pretty much as soon as you step through one of the doors. It is also noisy, with many of the patron talking loudly as they eat, drink and play their games.
Alterations
After the new Inn was nearly burnt down following a brawl gone wrong, the wooden floor on the ground floor along with the staircase leading up were changed to stone ones.
