Common Goblin
Whispers in the dark we speak, curses born from thoughts unsaid. You think us small and think us weak, but soon enough you might be dead.
In Dunyawal, one can find the ubiquitous presence of the "common goblin." These mischievous beings can be encountered in every corner of the world, hailing from various lands and diverse backgrounds. With pointy ears and noses and with the tallest among them about the height of a ten-year-old human child, goblins often cut an endearing figure, though many are more than what they seem.
While their physical traits may evoke curiosity, it is their habits and culture that truly sets the common goblin apart from the other
limae. Common goblins are renowned for their cleverness and playful nature. Tricksters by heart, they delight in playful pranks, often weaving mischievous schemes to outwit even the craftiest of adversaries. Their mischievous reputation precedes them, and they are known for placing curses on those who dare cross their paths or earn their ire. Though some curses may prove harmless, others can lead to bizarre and unpredictable consequences, making them both feared and respected in equal measure.
Beyond their whimsical behavior and affinity for tricks, goblins tend to foster tightly-knit communities. Within their tribes, they foster a strong sense of camaraderie and support for one another. Family bonds are paramount, and they often gather around the flickering firelight to share tales and legends that have been passed down through generations.
Visually distinct, the appearance of the common goblin grants it a unique charm. Clad in earth-toned or other attire that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings, they are known for their capacity for stealth and nimble movement. Their pointy ears twitch with curiosity, and their sharp eyes shine with a mischievous glint, sometimes revealing their intentions. Although they may be small in stature, their tenacity and resourcefulness make them formidable adversaries.
The common goblin possesses an insatiable taste for novelty. Unfazed by the daunting dangers that lie beyond their villages, many venture into the unknown with a zest for exploration and a desire to uncover hidden treasures. Their curious spirit leads them to embark on daring escapades, and their cleverness proves invaluable in navigating the ever-changing landscapes of Dunyawal.
These traits are in addition to the traits of all Goblins.
