Ril
Ril, god of magic, is neutral evil. He is called The Giftgiver. During the Age of Creation, Nüm and Nal disagreed about whether mortals ought to use magic. Ril decided the matter for them by stealing some of Nal’s magic and gifting it to the elves. The other gods then hastened to teach their magics to the elves as well, lest they all worship Nal. Ril is associated with generosity, theft, curses, and scholarship. He is depicted frequently in conversation with mortals, and bright-haired man. In the most faithful renderings, the artist always conceals Ril’s hands.
