Arechor's Sphere

Arechor's Sphere is a crystal sphere containing four planets and a number of populated moons. The name "Arechor" means "oyster" in the ancient form of Common that is shared among several of the inhabited worlds in the system. Arechor's Sphere is a relatively small sphere, and has no central star(s) for its planets to orbit. Instead, its planets move in a semi-random pattern around the sphere, and as such their positions relative to one another are unpredictable. Arechor's Sphere is semi-opaque, and lets in limited light from outside; the 'stars' visible from most planets within the system are actually massive pearl-like objects that roll across the sphere's interior surface. Little is known about these objects, since their velocity and rotation makes them extremely difficult to approach or observe.

Planets

Arechor's Sphere contains the following planets:

Amnieni - A small, hot, water world with a population of monstrous creatures who are said to have originated in some chaotic plane.
Aporofe - A tiny, flaming, high-gravity ringworld populated mainly by fire mephits.
Tar'astort - A mysterious ring-shaped ball of gas with a wildly erratic path around Arechor's Sphere. It drags an unexplored cluster of asteroids, and its population status is unknown.
Madish - A huge, spherical world with an unstable surface of hot water and gas. It contains a small number of islands that are semi-permanently populated by workers from some of the moons (mainly hobgoblins from Uhell's mining conglomerates). Madish has five orbiting moons that travel with it around the sphere:
- Tander's Hole - A jungle world populated by giant animals, with a series of ancient underground crypts infested with ghouls and ghasts.
- Bologadam - A sterile rock of a world with no known population.
- Creelyndra - A small earthlike world with a small aboriginal population of Jann.
- Uhell - A heavily populated earthlike world with several large oceans and a variety of civilizations and cultures. Uhell is the only world within Arechor's Sphere with any connection to the larger multiverse.
- Wehakilt - A primordial world with only primitive life.
