Arsfund
Arsfund is a agrarian settlement established by the Ars after their Second Contact. Located on the Selar they named Salvi, this settlement was the landing point of a majority of their arrivals up until the Incident where it became one of the last remaining settlements to have any individuals remaining, a place considered safe from the overall Vora conflict.
Widely known as the Ars' oldest occupation, what remains a hidden fact is that the region was destroyed by The Blades at the start of the Second Contact, prior to the violent seizure it was known as Kisáwa-iná, a settlement built on the massive natural wall of mangroves on the shore and used as a site of defense against incursions to the heartland by rival civilizations. The existence of this settlement was a major source of concern for occupying Ars, knowing that the warriors who once lived here would stop at nothing to rout them out of their desire to seize the land for its Oste. By leveling the mangroves here and completely warping its original intent and turning it into a farm, the Ars made their first and most insidious root into the Framework, one of many that would eventually allow them to completely dominate the system and force the Ará to oblivion and assimilation.
With the existence of Sector Maraine and Sector Xalia dimensional divisions, Arsfund remains a sourcepoint for the valued black salt deposits that gather there, and secondarily as a heavily fished area to feed Xalians, despite the fact many populations of the original species like the Giant Crab can no longer be found here as a result of the deforestation.
