Guatúk of the Ará
The Guatúk is a colloquial name from the Ará that refers to a construct of wood or stone of several meters in height that are hidden in the deeply forested areas of Planars and Selars sealed in the Sector Maraine. These constructs are left from the era thousands of years in the past, as markers of highly beneficent areas. From the stories that the Ará share of these massive colossi, the Guatúk hold in their frames advice that can be accessed by The Yer of any seeking Udo and for that reason discovering these ancient carvings are a goal of The Erá when they head to the regions sealed in the Maraine for their Relic searching and desire to amplify their connections to their ancestors.
The Guatúk offers a variety of opportunity for a seeking hunter of ancestral connections: access to weapons, knowledge on how to defeat powerful beasts, warnings on places to avoid, the knowledge of the land around them and the best places for settlement, though the latter is unable to take place due to the poisonous landscape that is now featured in the regions caught in the Maraine.
For most relic seekers, encouraging voices often point them in the direction of seeking Guatúk first as a starting point for their ancestral restoration, and said constructs give the seeker just enough opportunity to push deeper into areas overrun by the Vora where more knowledge of their history and clues can be found.
