Wood of the Yujiba
The Udo of the Castraversi for thousands of years have relied heavily on the natural resources of their Planar Otapi and anything that can be found on their Selars. In stark contrast to the Ars who heavily rely on industry and mechanisms, it might be easily mistaken that the Ars are a higher caliber of being for their innovation, but that is rarely the case. The reason for this is because of the wood extracted from the tree known as the Yujiba.
Wood from the Yujiba is extremely dense and is colloquially known by the Ars as Ostewood, for both a surprisingly similar color palette to the valued mineral as well as a similarity in hardness. For the Ara the Yujiba serves as a highly crucial building component, defense material and additionally a source of material for religious purposes, as it leads to the construction of the [Cemi of the Otapiara].
Most weapons are made from Yujiba, and are very dangerous in close quarters combat, for master craftsmanship of this surprisingly durable wood has repeatedly shown the ability to cut through metal plating. The science for this is largely limited, but it is assumed something unique about the soils of the forests that host Yujiba trees lead to this particularly useful component in their culture and their faith.
In their faith practices, Yujiba is the primary material for their monoliths, their statues, their icons used to represent their ancestors, their heroes and the defied entities they call on for protection in combat. The dense wood has allowed these constructs to last the length of time even past several decades, so it is not uncommon for the searches of The Erá to lead towards recovery of these religious icons as part of their goal of restoring their ties and bonds to The Yer
