Goliaths

Native to the mountainous regions of the Continent, the goliaths were conquered in the eighteenth-century, and have been relatively well-assimilated into Celestial society. They are permitted to be members of a range of Castes, and they make up a large sector of artisans and soldiers. However, they remain a conquered race, and they bear the stigma of this, particularly in the Celestial heartlands of the first, second and third provinces.
Goliaths are physically imposing, between seven and eight feet tall. They grow no hair whatsoever--although some choose to wear wigs for fashion purposes--and they have rough-textured skin, in shades of grey and grey-brown.

Goliath names

Goliaths have their own naming conventions, involving complex tribal surnames and honorary given names. (You can find examples in the source book.) However, more assimilated city-goliaths may choose to adopt Celestial style names.
