Team Ten

Team Ten is one of the surviving teams in the The Gauntlet of Mercy. Starting in Tenth Province , the team have slowly accrued a loyal fan-following throughout the course of the games due to their competency and flair; but outside forces conspire to use their place in the games to their own ends, including both Regent Sai and Ash. Team Ten have thus far taken no losses, despite a number of close calls. They have forged shaky alliances with both Team Seven and Team One, and a bitter rivalry with Team Eleven.

Fortune

Race: Eladrin Caste: Ivory Conviction: Attempted Murder Fortune is an Eladrin actress who was born into an acting troop based in New Shen, Third Province. Fortune found fame across the southern provinces after taking the lead role in the iconic noh drama 'Undead Consort Bah-Tori', in which she played the eponymous vampiress. Fortune was arrested after the wife of her theatrical patron accused her of attempting to poison her, presumably in order to then marry her widowed husband. Fortune strongly denies her conviction, although many still refuse to believe her.

Uki

Race: Drow Caste: Casteless Conviction: Piracy Once a pirate, Uki is now temporarily without a ship, a crew, or any treasure whatsoever. Unlike more successful pirates, she has proven herself to be fairly honourable and can't stand people who break their promises. Until being captured, she had only briefly visited the lands of the Empire, living almost permanently at sea since leaving the Shroudlands. As a result she has shown a childlike enthusiasm towards her team's travels between gauntlets, picking up small souvenirs and trying all the food she has found along the way. Uki clearly thinks herself capable and intelligent, and as a result has acted impulsively, failing to think things through before trying to one-up her teammates or show off to the audience. However she finds her state of subjugation to the empire deeply embarrassing, and cannot wait to escape back to her life of freedom and petty crime, determined to leave the gauntlet alive.
