Chang Lu
Chang Lu is one of four heroes mentioned by name in the Codex of Whispers, notable for his deeds defending the world of Norn from the Beasts of Armageddon. Although his face has never been seen, he is best recognized for his Tien-like features, and the animalistic tattoos that sprawl down his arms. As seen in All Is Lost, he has scars on his arms that indicate he primarily fights with his fists. While it is unknown what elements or patron spirit his soul is bound to, he was capable of blocking a black wind generated by Bast with his bare hands.
As hinted at in the stories of the Codex, Bast and Chang were once rivals, but eventually became steadfast allies and best friends. Chang's robes and tattoos bear a striking similarity to Kauma Gonjodonque's, but this may be coincidence, or a parallel drawn unintentionally by the Godhead.
