Dreamer
Known to all who slumber, the Dreamer is the protector of the sleeping mind, and one of the greatest explorers of the Dreamlands. He is one of the few Saints to have a direct relationship with a deity, being a devout servant of Desna, and is often rumored to be one of her many lovers. Since his recognition as a Saint, his primary goal has been to halt the invasion of mortal dreams - a favorite ploy of his arch-nemesis Nyaralathotep. His followers are often given the power to travel the Dreamlands directly, where unseen wars guard the sanctity of the mind.
Action: None
Duration: Permanent Upon receiving the Blessing of the Dreamer, this ability is immediately invoked, and all affected are irrevocably changed. The targets of this Blessing gain the ability to see the ghosts of the past, interact with the creatures of the Dreamlands, and bear witness to the strangeness of dreams. They may traverse the Dreamlands during their sleep, similar to the effects of a Access Beacon and the Drift. However, this ability works both ways. Ghosts are aware of the blessed as if they were ghosts themselves, and the creatures of the Dreamlands recognize one of their own. While often wonderful, in rare cases dreams may turn into nightmares...
