Outer Gates
The Outer Gates are the last border between the Dark Tapestry and the rest of creation, which includes Tyrnog, the Other Side, and the Mirror. It is without question the most secure location in the universe, protected by enchantments older than this reality and all that came before it, and the watchful eye of the Gatekeeper.
Geography
Similar to the Doors of Death, the Outer Gates often change in appearance across the ages, influenced by the reality it is dedicated to protect, and the Gatekeeper that oversees it. While explorers in Albus Rickette's time claimed the gates looked like a flat, massive wall stretching out into infinity, modern explorers record an astral landscape, with a vibrant black hole in the distance. The ground is made of cracked stone, crowned with far-reaching, jagged pillars, and uncountable illusions that warp the terrain and trick the mind.
