House Vecathaar

House Vecathaar is one of the Eight Great Houses of Ardunia. They are of the Golden Wolfmen bloodline. It was believed that during the Caessian Empire, the Vecathaar were a clan of holy warriors who maintained the balance of power between the council of generals and the will of the people. While they have retained power throughout southern Ardunia for almost 300 years, their power would be in title only as they stood merely as the mark of the end the Caessian Empire and the start of the War of the Three Kings The Three Sons of Vecathaar are Aldrun the Ash Lord, Urvos the Scourge and Daodurn Bloodbone (also known as the King of Bones). While Daodurn sits the throne by his own birthright, his rights have been contested by Aldrun and Urvos through an ancient Wolfman custom referred to as Al' Kalthar. This refers to a custom where anyone is within his or her own strength to contest the crown if they believe their king or queen to be unworthy to rule.
