Deeply rooted in the chivalric code, the Reinille live on in the Soi
The Soi people call the high mountains of La Fantel(Continent) their home. It is a people of honor and chivalry. With this comes a sense of strict obedience to the laws of their kings, the holders of the chivalric code. It is this code that unites the Soi people, despite the many kingdoms and princedoms that divide them.

The people of the Soi speak a dialect of common. It is a guttural dialect with lots of hard plosive consonants.

The Soi follow in many of the traditions of their predecessors, the Reinille. Once, the massive church of Rei ruled an impressive empire across most of La Fantel, but its cataclysmic fall in 12 3E lead to the creation of the many princedoms and kingdoms of the Soi.
Shared customary codes and values
The Soi people believe in a strong sense of chivalry. Their code contains three tenets: Justice, Honor, and Valor. To the Soi, only the bravest and strongest knights can be champions of chivalry, the ultimate honor.
Average technological level
The people of the Soi are largely agrarian by trade. The many fertile lands of La Fantel(Continent) encourage the people to make ample use of such a gift. Aside from that, the Soi create impressive metal works from steel and iron for use in many industries: weapons, armor, building, farming, transport, etc. They have also learned the ways of the sail. Though not the most impressive sailors in the world, the Soi are competent on the seas and field ships capable of great travels.
The Dwarves of the Soi live mostly in the mountains and hills in the west of La Fantel(Continent), but have learned a great deal about mining. They've developed mining processes and tools to reach deep into Unrehta. Along with that, they have iron track networks within the mines to form the great roadways of subterranean, dwarven cities.
Some of the wealthiest in La Fantel(Continent) are able to afford Pegasi, flying mounts typically used in warfare. The Husterian Kingdom was noted for successful utilization of these creatures during the War of Rivals to can air superiority over the ground based forces of the Bloody Bear Klan orcs.

Common Etiquette rules
One must know his station in life. A peasant bows and shows reverence to a knight. A knight kneels to his lord. The lord serves his king or prince as vassal. Only those of a higher station can speak initially. The lower one must wait until given permission to speak.

The art of the Soi tends to focus on landscapes and nature. When artists do portrayals of people, it's often important figures in the form of portraits. Everything about their art tries to harken back to the beauty of nature. Their art reflects the nature of their land: high mountain vistas looking over swathes of lands.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
Upon birth to a noble, a child is baptized by waving a torch over its head. To the Soi, this symbolizes giving the child bravery to uphold chivalry at its most trying times.
Coming of Age Rites
The villages of the Soi each have their own rite of passage. The more common examples include spending one night alone in the forest, pledging loyalty to ones lord, and for boys of noble birth, finishing squireship to become a knight.
Common Myths and Legends
It is common legend that the middle mountains of Chattelle were formed from a slain dragon. The great hero Chattelle slew the evil creature long, long ago and claimed the land of La Fantel(Continent) for his people. Other the centuries, these people eventually became the Soi.
