As the Age of Divinity slowly came to a close, the divines gradually receded from direct intervention in the world for reasons that remain a mystery. Nevertheless, the legacies of their descendants and creations endured. They were named the Divine Beasts.
Unfettered by unrestrained power and ambition, these divine beasts unleashed chaos upon the realm of Iberia. Among them, many possessed the ominous ability to reduce entire cities to rubble merely by their presence, casting an imminent existential threat over the communities residing in their shadows.
The era following divinity marked a significant chapter wherein a trio of heroes, collectively identified as the Holy Trinity , emerged to quell the remaining divine beasts that had once wreaked havoc across the lands of Aliech. Their mission was clear: to ensure the survival of humanity against the formidable entities known as divine beasts.
The Holy Trinity comprised of the following Arcadia the Luminal Codex, Maria the Blind Arboreal, and Ferrin the Ironclad Liberator. All of them were mortal beings at the time of their relevancy. Each would ascend to renown and celebration for their extraordinary feats of vanquishing the Divine Beasts. They became objects of reverence among the inhabitants of the Aliech continent. Later, they would be worshipped as the central figures in the most prominent religion—the Pantheon of the Holy Trinity. In this pivotal time, humanity bore witness to the triumphant exploits of these now-ascended divine beings, eventually declaring the onset of a new era—the Age of After Divinity. They continued their journey to vanquish other divine beasts in other regions and would continue to garner followers in other regions of the world. Their current locations are a mystery as of now.
