Haven
"To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible."A once outlawed land of explorers from Grehearth was known as Newhearth. Many of the initial inhabitants abused their powers as nobles to exploit the working class. As they toiled for long hours to expand and develop this beautiful gothic architecture, unrest amongst the people would rise. would oppose this. Various minor factions united under the banner of Haven. A devout follower of the Holy Trinity, the leader desired the three commandments. Freedom, Peace, and Love amongst the people. In order to achieve this goal, Events if the fell star brought ruse to shadows and undead. Witches and hag mother's granting boons and desire for these innate power of the void. Some despise some desire it. An invisible force that fights in the night. Few remain. In the peak of exploration, the ambitions of Grehearth once spread far and wide throughout the known continents. Various ships would set sail until one would fatefully land upon what would be known as Haven, the land of Ecclesiarchy. Formerly known as the colony named Newhearth, these settlers composed of various individuals of common blood and those of noble blood. Many of which were capable well-bodied men and women who paved the way for the new generation. As they began to settle upon these new lands, conflict began to arise between the nobility and the commoners. As the common man toiled his life from the burden of tasks by their respective nobles, resentment and distrust would begin to bear fruit. Men after men would be sent out to work in the labor camps or be forced to be enlisted to fend off the hostile wildlife. Women would injure their bodies by harvesting, sowing, and sewing constantly day in and out without breaks. With newfound resentment and anger against the nobility, the commoners grew wise to their actions, and many attempts to reach the homeland were intercepted by the nobility and their respective guards. Those who were caught were penalized heavily and made an example of publicly in the town square. Many years would pass, as the "good news" and forced enlistment would fall upon deaf ears at that capital. A rebellion would occur after the death of a devout follower named Alm Melest, where the people demanded justice and the heads of those who had murdered the man in cold blood. Many of the nobles would be beheaded and spiked onto spears, as they began to be purged from the land. Abandoning these lands, they bordered their ships and returned to Grehearth, leaving behind their riches and ornately designed homes. With the disappearance of Alm Melest , and the abandonment of the Nobles, the remainders of the followers of Alm reveled in his teachings and followings, establishing a Church-State to honor his beliefs and to continue spreading his teachings. It would later be known that the Land of Newhearth became the Land of Haven afterward when the formation of the Ecclesiarchy came about. Today, the Ecclesiarchy has reformed and established order, bringing about peace and a historically low crime rate that barely reaches the hundreds. Under the watchful eyes of the Holy Knights, the Inquisition, and the Ecclesiarchy, this land stands fast against all adversaries, heretics, and monsters that dare oppose them and their teachings.-Clergymen of the Holy Trinity
