Hesiod (Hee-see-uhd)
The Former Cyclopian Lands
History
A Shattered Land that once housed an grand expanse of Cyclops in the northern region of the Aliech Continent. Ruled by the three Cyclopian brothers of Brontes, Arges, and Steropes who were all feared for their wielding of the lightning elements. Renowned for their giant animals and pastoral lifestyles, many of them lived idyllic lifestyles where few would dare encroach upon their livelihoods. While they were gentle creatures with below-average intellect, they were able to be communicated with by most humanoids. Yet this land would collapse due to a pang of insatiable hunger for flesh, especially humanoids. Desiring flesh and blood, they would consume nearby settlements of their people, At times, they would even go against each other when truly starved. The Cyclopian race in the region is classified to be a hostile race by the The Aliech Kingdom as a direct consequence. The cause of this remains unknown to this very day.Additional Infomation
A vast amount of creatures in this land have some form of giantism. While not much different than their regular animal counterparts, they are wildly harder to control, feed, or even restain and are not considered to be tamable as a result by most. Large towers and settlements made by the Cyclopians races remain at large and in use. With massive chunks of cobbled rocks and paste, their houses remain intact even after many generations of not being kept.
