Naming conventions are inspired by Celtic, French, Nordic, and any other European-based cultures. The Aliech Kingdom the original naming convention of "Aliech" derives from the game Mabinogi, a Celtic-Anime-inspired MMORPG. Much of the world is heavily inspired, such as the Battle of Mo'ra, various NPCs, and story structures. While it carries much of old lore from the previous DnD5E campaign series that I ran back in 2021, much of it is overhauled to the point where it is no longer the same. There are similar NPCs, regions, maps, and so on that are reutilized in various parts of the map. It would be a shame not to use my old hard work after all. It utilizes contemporary and emerging technologies seen in the early industrial periods from 1600-1900s, where they begin to innovate and industrialize the realm with their spectacles. It is lightly influenced by steampunk technology, railways, and other forms of technology. Culture plays a major factor in these lands, as pride amongst those native to their lands is held in high esteem. This is the first region that was developed in Iberia and is considered the most completed region. Tackles themes such as typical medieval tropes and media. It also discusses the implications of industrialization upon the environment, and the rapid change in society and technology affecting the world as we know it today. The Principality of Grazia is heavily inspired by the faction known as the Principality of Zeon from Mobile Suit Gundam and loosely utilizes other fictional franchises as reference. A former land that was shattered through internal strife and conflict for power, it continues to rebel against the norm and caters only to the desires of its own survival. It is a heavily militarized nation that fights against the regime of flawed bureaucrats, affluent immoral merchants, and corrupt nobilities. Where the land of the free, is but to the strong. In addition to that, it has tropes from classism, slavery, and the discussions of equality amongst races that look, think, and act differently. Additionally, the naming conventions derive from those of the Iberian Peninsula, and so do the local regions/places. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iberians Heavily inspired by European naming schemes from Celtic, English, French, Germanic, etc as to portray the typical medieval tropes.Eastern Aliech
Retaining a diverse set of cultures that all aspire for something greater within, there are multiple factions of interest in said location. Each region is uniquely set to its own specific accords to achieve something greater for their respective society. They push the boundaries of what means to live in a society, and how does one evolves. From Gobolando's desire to create a society where all goblins can live in a more modernized setting, to developing magical tools and skills for all to bear in the The Septum Confederation, to even ascending death and reaching nirvana by cultivation in the Lun Sect. All are noble efforts of their individual societies, and are again, unique to their specific region to how they approach it. The Septum Confederation and the magical system that was established is heavily inspired by early Fate/Staynight and the Nasuverse. From Caster's Insignia, to Mana. However, Erg is pulled from Mabinogi. Within its seven houses and major cities, it aspires to develop magic to help others and spread the very nature of magic through all. Additionally, many of its monsters are heavily inspired by the various fables, children's tales, and other popular stories known in the past. As fiction comes to life in this land, much of the books have been banned, lest they arise from their slumbers and animate into life. The Stoneguards utilizes typical PF2E Dwarven lore but focuses on a yearning for the past society that they once held in high regard. Now, they face a giant divide in their society. Do they return back to the mountains that they were birthed from? Or do they continue on outwards towards the sky with innovation in hand, facing the calamity that subjugated their former capital of Faldur? Lun Sect pulls from primarily traditional Chinese culture and other Asian cultures. From Wu-Xia, to Shaolin Monks, all of which are an attempt at following a "Dao". Dao is described as "One's path in life" as individuals seek out their journey in life to cultivate, improve, and enhance their way of life. For it is everything they dedicate towards and must excel at in the pursuit of their path. Those that achieve it, find fulfillment in life. And those that seek greater heights, desire cultivation, and immortality to improve upon said skills. Gobolando discusses the fundamental aspects that goblins are an inferior species that are constantly at strife, dumb as hell, and incapable of functioning together as a cohesive group. Faithful individuals of this society attempt to garnish what little respect they can from their peers, to attempt a society for goblins, by goblins. Together, they will gather their brains together and assemble wonders that no other ancestries would dare attempt, or possibly achieve in their lifespan alone. Distone is a city-state within a massive forest. Protected by nature, it is home to a great vast of untouched and officially unclaimed lands and native creatures who live comfortably here. This leads to illegal dumping of waste, over-consumption of resources, disrespect of nature, and other related matters that we face today in terms of environmental discussions. It also deals with the Feywild and other powerful beings. It is inspired by the fictional series known as Rewrite by KEY.
