Born into a Tepthian noble family Alessryn grew up an only child to a father who had only wanted a son to carry on the family's name. To his disappointment at first the gods had gifted him a beautiful baby girl. Undetered Ilvirden by his offspring gender made sure he taught her everything he would have a son. Alessryn's mother Jandoralyn had her own ideas of how her noble daughter should be raised and made sure she received the best education and training in courtly manners. Alessryn ended up not having much of a childhood as much of it was more or less training for adulthood. As she grew older Ilvirden instilled in her as many knightly qualities as he could especially honor. Jandoralyn instilled self worth in Alessryn and to trust her heart as much as her mind.
Alessryn lived somewhat of a dual life in her adolescents. When she would attend her lessons, she was just like all the other girls who were dressed by their noble mothers. She enjoyed spending those hours of her day iteracting with her friends it felt normal. The boys weren't always the nicest to her.especially when they found out about her home life. They would tease Alessryn about her training in martial combat and military tactics. Although there were many times Alessryn could have gotten into and won fights against boys she always carried herself with class first and restraint second. There had been one boy who had never picked on her the Prince of Tepth Durlax Greaylin. She thought he was cute and maybe that fact played into it a bit, but he had actually always been rather pleasant with her.
One day during their daily break from lessons Prince Durlax approached Alessryn who was with a group of her friends to asked if he could share the honor of a kiss with her. She was a little taken back by the request from the prince, as her friends giggled behind her. Durlax then explained that his friends had dared him to ask the prettiest girl for a kiss and that it thought it only fitting that he ask her. This may have been the exact moment that Alessryn fell in love with Durlax the future king of Tepth. She granted Durlax his request and the two shared the first kiss of their lives at that moment.
After being held captive for almost a year by the elves of Crestshire Durlax and Alessryn were able to escape and then be rescued by an elite Tepthian mage and Practitioner Minrell Narm. It wasn't until then that the reality of being rescued resulted in not being able to be with her true love and soul mate Durlax Greaylin King of Tepth. Durlax was King and he already had a Queen and as much as she loved him, she wasn't sure she could go back to the way things were.
Upon returning to Atepthilar Alessryn was granted a leave of absence to recover from her imprisonment by the elves. As the first month began to exhibit symptoms of pregnancy. She told no one and decided to use the leave of service to travel to the Isle City of Stremberthal to visit the Academy of Arcane Medicine. Once there it was confirmed that Alessryn was indeed pregnant and she knew without question who the father was. It made her very sad the man she loved her soul mate could never be hers or this child's father. As the time went on Alessryn became more depressed by her situation she canceled passage back to Tepth and sent a letter to the King that she could no longer fulfill her duty a Head of his Guard.
It was in the city of Stremberthal that Alessryn found new purpose in the service of Goddess Glis Ambergleam. The High Priestess had become aware of Alessryn situation and helped guide her out of the darkness her life had become.
