The Guardians

A group of powerful individuals tasked with the protection and safeguard of the Gateway. Just like the gate itself, the order's origins are long forgotten, with only their task of protecting the multiverse from collapsing as their focus. Their task tends to take them between worlds and dimensions themselves to keep up with the ever-shifting gateway. A current requirement to become a permanent Guardian is the ability to safely travel through dimensions without the risk of shattering it, a long-lived race, and an understanding of the damage that could be caused should the gate fall in the wrong hands, or fragments escape from it.

Goals

1. Protection of the Barrier - First and Foremost is the protection of the barrier between worlds.
2. Protection of the Gateway - The Gateway should never fall to those that would abuse it's power.
3. Destruction of Fragments - Fragments are to be destroyed and dispersed back to the void.

Known Members

• Hilae - A dog dullahan who has been missing. One of the oldest members of the Guardians.
• Aeronavita - A wind demon who became trapped between the dimensions for quite some time and had her sanity collapse. No longer fit for duty, and lives on an isolated world she chose. Occasionally helps out when she's searched out.
• Alias - A cybernetic canid nightmare. The current oldest member with an active role in the Guardians. He is quiet and watchful, very untrusting of anything or anyone. Known to sass.
• Shadowclaw - A Cerberi that found the Guardians while stuck in the void. After being helped, her grudge against the one who had forced them into that position lead them to join the Guardians. Time tempered the grudge, leaving them more focused on the tenants of the Guardians and have since become the Guardian's most active member.
• Amelia Ezel - A wolf-girl with an appreciation for magic and temporal spells. She is the youngest member of the guardians, taking up the role after she had aided the Guardians against a mutual enemy.
