The caste of Mystdal once protected the northern borders of the small Kingdom of Soravia. Soravia became a region of Rasfadal during the great conquest of Looras the Great. The king was stripped of his title and allowed to be the Duke of Soravia. Some time later the Duke was unable to produce an heir and the leadership of the duchy feel in the hands of the Bishop of Fern. Shortly after that the Duchy was undone and its territories taken into the Bisdom of Fern. During the War of the Vale the Archduchy of Sovar was able to claim a thin stretch of land from Rasfadal, including the northern part of the Bisdom of Fern. The new territory became the Barony of Northern Soravia and is currently part of the Duchy of Varasia.
The Bishop of Fern is... unpleased with the current situation and has gathered a small band of adventurers. They are to infiltrate the castle an weaken its defenses, preparing it to fall to the Bishop's forces that are already on their way..."
