Timarth

Timarth is a seductive goddess who is often portrayed as a temptress, using her charm and beauty to lead mortals astray. She is a major deity in the House of Darkness, and is often associated with the concepts of desire, passion, and temptation. In some traditions, she is considered to be the daughter of Morlorrim and Mordana, and is said to have inherited her mother's beauty and her father's cunning.   Timarth is often depicted as a sensuous and alluring figure, with long, flowing hair and a voluptuous figure. She is known for her ability to manipulate the emotions and desires of mortals, and is often called upon by those seeking to fulfill their deepest, darkest desires. Despite her association with temptation and seduction, however, Timarth is also seen as a protector of love and fertility, and is sometimes called upon by couples seeking to conceive a child or reignite the passion in their relationship.   In the House of Darkness, Timarth is often seen as a foil to Tallith, the god of death and decay. Whereas Tallith represents the inevitable cycle of death and decay in the natural world, Timarth represents the creative and life-giving aspects of the universe. Despite their differences, however, both deities are seen as necessary for the proper functioning of the world, and their respective domains are believed to be intricately linked.

Divine Domains

Timarth's divine domains are desire, seduction, temptation, and love. She is often associated with the darker aspects of these domains, such as lust and infidelity. Her power lies in her ability to allure and seduce, often leading mortals down a path of destruction and sin. However, some believe that her seductive powers can also be used for positive purposes, such as strengthening relationships and fostering intimacy between partners.   Despite her sometimes negative reputation, Timarth is still highly respected among the deities of the House of Darkness. Her role as the goddess of seduction and temptation complements the other gods' domains, such as Morlorrim's all-seeing eye and Ar-Larakh's vengeance. She is often seen as a necessary force in the balance of power within the House, as her ability to influence and manipulate can be a powerful tool in achieving certain goals.

Tenets of Faith

As the goddess of seduction and temptation, Timarth's tenets of faith center around the exploration and indulgence of desire, but also the caution and control of those desires to avoid destructive consequences. Some of her tenets may include:   Embrace and explore desire: Timarth encourages her followers to embrace and explore their desires, whether they are physical, emotional, or spiritual in nature. Avoid harm: While exploring desire, it is important to avoid causing harm to oneself or others. Timarth's followers should always be aware of the potential consequences of their actions and seek to minimize harm. Practice self-control: Temptation can be powerful and lead to destructive behavior. Timarth's followers must practice self-control and resist temptation when necessary to avoid harmful outcomes. Celebrate pleasure: Pleasure and enjoyment are seen as important parts of life by Timarth's followers. They should seek out experiences that bring them pleasure and celebrate those experiences. Honor the divine feminine: Timarth is often associated with the divine feminine and her followers may place a particular emphasis on honoring and respecting women.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

As a goddess of seduction and temptation, Timarth's divine goals are to test the faith and willpower of mortals. She seeks to lead them astray from the path of righteousness and into the realm of darkness, where they can be easily manipulated by the other deities of the House of Darkness. She enjoys causing chaos and confusion among mortals and relishes in the corruption of their souls.   At the same time, Timarth also has a more positive side to her divine goals. She represents the power of attraction and desire, which can inspire individuals to pursue their passions and live life to the fullest. She encourages mortals to embrace their sensual side and enjoy the pleasures of life, but not at the expense of their own morality or the harm of others.
