Wyryndam

"The Town of Wyryndam lies on the on the northern Murr Shore. It is one of the important trading towns in the region. Orcs to the south and bandit infested swamps to the west threaten the peaceful existence of the settlement. Lord Emmerling, the stern count residing in the castle, is worried about the future of his lands. For years his family has ruled, but his grip on the lands is slowly loosening. Many times he has requested assistance from his liege, but the king has no men to spare to ease the count's troubles. To the south a clan of aggressive orcs is ridding the land of all vegetation. Their leader has shown interest in a truce and trade agreements, but he has yet to gain the support of his clan. Meanwhile bandits have taken over the swamp region to the west, establishing their own kingdoms. For years they have been unchallenged and their influence is slowly creeping nearer. Still, the town of Wyryndam continues to be an important port on the Murr Shore. While it is no major port city like Sabras or Callaern, it still sees a lot of traffic from merchants ships.
