The Missing Children

After the encounter with the werewolves the group pushes forth, finding Harlan and his children in a cave. They manage to bring everyone back to Veryne just before nightfall. Igor and Svarog both try to get some hard needed rest.

The group pushed forward, looking for Harlan and his missing children. After a couple of hours the tracks lead to a cave where they find the children and their badly injured father. Harlan is in no condition to walk and has to be carried home.   In a race against the clock the group rushes back to the village, arriving just after sunset. The people of Veryne welcome them back, but are worried about the wounded and what might become of them.   Svarog learns that lycanthropy is a curse and not an infection, realizing that he cut his arm off for no reason. In an ally he attempts to regrow an arm using a ritual but is unsuccessful, though his wound is now covered by a green glowing substance. He decides to go to the tavern and drink until he blacks out.   Igor visits Mirah to see how the family is doing and has dinner with them. At the end of the day he falls asleep in his chair, exhausted from the rough day they had.
