New Leads

The Champions, accompanied by Masters Kaelin and Darostan, embarked on a two-week journey to the Feylin Forest after receiving leads on Svarog the Soulless. Along the way, they met Padrig, a guide with a peculiar interest in faeries, who led them through a checkered path in the forest. Suddenly, they found themselves in a clearing where they had apparently set up camp without any recollection. As they followed their own tracks, the paths diverged, causing further bewilderment and uncertainty.

Some time passed since the Champions were in Twyrif. A lot changed since then. The small border dispute in the south turned into a all out war between Rasfadal and Burbry. At the Heroes' Guild the Champions were called to Headmaster Fenwyn's office, where they were greeted by Fenwyn and Masters Kaelin and Darostan. The two explained to the Champions that they found new leads connected to Svarog the Soulless., Kaelin explaied that her studies led her to believe that they might be able to enter the Parallel in the Feylin Forest, a mystical place where the veils between dimension are thinnest.   The Champion set out on a two week journey to the forest, along with Kaelin and Darostan. Upon arriving at the village they met a guide, named Padrig, who agreed to lead them into the forest. Padrig was an odd fellow with a peculiar interest in the faerie kind,and the group was unsure if he was to be trusted, but they had no other choice so they decided to follow him. He led them to a path that led into the forest, constructed of large, black and white tiles laid out in a checkered pattern. So long as they wouldn't stray off the path they should be alright.   They set out into the forest. The following moment they found themselves in a clearing, deep in the forest. It appeared as if they had set up camp earlier and they were out of rations. None of them had any momory of how they got there.   The decided to follow their own tracks, hoping to find out where they came from and how they got there, but their track split, leading to even more confusion.
