CSI: Twyrif

The group spent the night at a tavern before investigating the crime scenes in the Slums. At the first scene, they discovered evidence of illegal activities. They confronted a suspicious man who witnessed a suspicious event. The second scene led them to believe the Whisper Guild was involved. They went to a tavern to contact the Whisperers, but a bar fight broke out. Meanwhile, a red dragonborn and a Witch-hunter arrived.

After being handed the details about the crime scenes, the group decided to spend the night in the tavern. The next day they headed out into the Slums and started investigating the crime scenes.   The first crime scene was boarded shut, and appeared to have been some sort of clothing shop. After entering they found some bookkeeping that suggested the store had only been open for about a month and a half. Rakarashkar also found a box with a hollow bottom filled with gold. The Champions suspected the shop owner might not have been acting fully within the law. They went outside and spotted a man quickly closing the curtains. They kocked on the man's door and he didn't want to speak to them. Mea broke in the door and demanded the man told them what he knew or saw. He explained that he saw people dragging out something large and heavy a couple of days ago. The party assumed it was the body of the missing man.   At the second crime scene they found what might have been foodstore. The windows were broken and all that was left was soem rotten fruit. In the middle of the shop was a large pool of blood and the woman who owned this shop was murdered. Mea and Mordrack were investigating the backroom of the shop where they found a large struggle had taken place. After some research Mea found out that the murderer or murderers were looking for a stash, managed to find it and left. Mordrack realised that the walls of these buildings were very thin and some neighbours might have heard the struggle. The group went to the house next to the shop where and old man lived. He was reluctant to speak to them and seemed nervous, continuously looking around. When asked what he was looking for he explained that "they" are always watching and he didn't want to get involved in any of this. When asked who "they" were, the man put a finger in front of his lips. The Champions realized that he was talking about the Whisper Guild, a criminal organization in Twyrif.   The left for a nearby tavern to find out how they could contact these Whisperers. Janek approached the barkeep who told them that they simply needed to cause some commotion and the Whispers would find them soon enough. Janek nodded and immediately punched the man. One of the patrons responded by punching Janek, who was knocked back and craashed in another couple's table. A bar fight ensued.   As this happened, two figures entered the tavern; a giant red dragonborn and a tall man from the Witch-hunters Guild.
